April G. Orlando
Corporate Sales Division
April Orlando currently serves as the Division President of U.S. Legal Support’s Corporate Sales Division. With more than 20 years of professional experience in both the medical and legal industries, she has been integral to the development of the sales organization and U.S. Legal Support’s continued growth.
April is a career sales and business development professional. Prior to joining U.S. Legal Support, she worked in strategic business development and sales at several medical device companies, most notably Depuy Spine (a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson), Biomet Trauma and RS Medical. In these positions, she was responsible for sales and marketing for medical implants and managed logistics for multiple salespeople. During this phase of her career, she attended over 400 surgical procedures.
She joined U.S. Legal Support as a Director of Business Development in Central Florida. Beginning with a very small team and a handful of reporters, she expanded revenue dramatically and was promoted to the Southeast Division Director of Sales and then Southeast Division President in 2017. Most recently, April became Division President of National Accounts, where she is responsible for revenues, operations, strategic planning, budgeting and client service across major corporations, insurance companies and law firms operating in multiple locations. With a focus on operational efficiencies, cost containment and security, April works with her National Account Executives to develop programs specifically to meet the business objectives of clients.
As a professional and team member, April has a fierce competitive drive – she tells people, straightforwardly, that she hates coming in second. She believes in leading by example, and will not ask her team to do anything she won’t do herself, working right next to them. She gets her greatest professional satisfaction from seeing her direct reports advance professionally.
April sees technology as a force multiplier for U.S. Legal Support’s most valuable asset – its people. With technology, she seeks to create efficiencies that will help support both internal and external clients.
April is a graduate of Stetson University.
