Shana M. Holton
Senior Vice President & Division President, West Region
Shana is a senior member of the U.S. Legal Support management team with very deep roots in court reporting. She began her career in 1994, passing the state test just six days after the birth of her oldest daughter. She continued to excel in her career for the next 20 years as a Certified Shorthand Reporter and Certified Livenote Reporter. She worked with some of the leading law firms in the industry on extremely complex matters, taking her expertise and developed relationships to U.S. Legal Support in 2009.
While reporting at U.S. Legal Support, she began to notice areas for operational improvement. Staying true to her industrious and entrepreneurial spirit, she began to take on operational tasks as well, and discovered she had a gift for it. More importantly, she enjoyed it. She assumed the role of Regional Director in 2011, while still reporting depositions for her clients. Although passionate about court reporting, she realized it was becoming challenging to both report and continue her burgeoning career in operations. Ultimately, she chose the management path and was promoted to Vice President in 2014, and then to President of the West Division in 2016. In this role, she’s responsible for overseeing the success and continued growth in the west.
As a respected leader in the industry, Shana is known for her infectious enthusiasm, her ability to listen and arrive at creative solutions to seemingly intractable problems, and her hands-on expertise in the day-to-day work of the west team. Additionally, her responsibilities extend to national marketing initiatives. She is deeply committed to and passionate about the U.S. Legal Support brand. Her responsibility for marketing encompasses everything that tells the U.S. Legal Support story to the world, including the website, branding, marketing in general, and social media. Pull her aside, she’d love to tell you all about us!
